About the Job
The Executive Officer will provide high quality, professional executive assistance to the University Executive Board (UEB). This will include:
- To plan, organise and maintain the electronic diary of the UEB members to enable them to effectively use their time, ensuring they are provided with all necessary information and travel arrangements.
- To plan, organise and maintain the documentation of the UEB members as necessary, preparing briefing documents and conducting accompanying research as required. To arrange external meetings as needed.
- To assist the UEB members and UEB support to manage output, workflow, and office deadlines and to manage a weekly brought forward file.
- To act as project officer for various UEB projects to ensure projects are taken forward and outcomes delivered.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a high-performance track record in committee/meeting management, with an understanding of the Higher Education sector and broader policy contexts, as well as the ability to identify sources of further information and expertise.
You will have good communication skills, both written and oral, to receive, digest, and effectively deliver complex information to a range of audiences, both externally and internally.
