JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide administrative and secretarial support to part of the Senior Management Team of a growing toy retailer based in Newtownards. Assist with planning and organising their day to day affairs, and overseeing expansion projects to ensure smooth running.

Main responsibilities:

  • Help to plan and organise various tasks for two directors.
  • Screen calls, enquiries and requests, and deal with them when appropriate.
  • Oversee company expansion projects to ensure smooth running.
  • Organise and book travel arrangements.
  • Purchase various equipment needed within the business.
  • Maintain office systems, including data management and filing.
  • Taking minutes/notes of various meetings as requested.
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Director.

Person specification:

  • Experience as Personal Assistant desirable.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to organise and plan own work.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week

Salary: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
