The Camping and Caravanning Club is the world's oldest and largest Club for all forms of camping and our aim is to help people enjoy the simple pleasures that camping can bring. It's an exciting time to join the organisation and be a part of our continued growth.

We are currently recruiting for two Executive Assistants to join our existing dedicated team.
The roles will primarily focus on providing efficient administrative support (diaries, coordinating meetings, taking notes, and issuing correspondence etc). The role will also provide the opportunity to get involved in a variety of work -anything from research to creating presentations, events and roadshows.
As a Not-For-Profit we have a voluntary committee structure working alongside our Senior Leadership Team, experience of working with committees and voluntary officers is advantageous.
You’ll be confident at dealing with people at all levels across the organisation, including Directors and be a key contact for all members of staff. You’ll greet guests, suppliers, and work with different departments, being a go-to point of contact. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, great written presentation skills and be willing to take on tasks.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Create and draft correspondence, presentations, and communications on behalf of the Directors.
- Organise and schedule meetings, both internally and externally
- Prepare meeting agendas
- Take minutes during meetings and issue them to stakeholders in a timely fashion
- Book business travel arrangements, including flights, transportation and accommodation
- Answer and deal with telephone calls
- Open and deal with incoming mail
- Manage the diaries and schedules
- Liaise with suppliers and business guests
- Schedule and organise relevant Committees, liaising and communicating with relevant Voluntary Officers as required
- Maintain an electronic filing system, ensuring processes and software are up to date and in working order
- Maintain an office filing system, complying with all GDPR requirements
- Maintain a strong working relationship with other relevant departments, including within the Executive Assistant team
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant
- An advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Confident and friendly manner
- Excellent administrative skills
- Understanding / ability to work in a confidential environment
- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Exceptional communication skills, including a high standard of written and spoken English
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy, whilst multi-tasking and prioritising a busy workload
- A can-do attitude, happy to get involved in various tasks and the ability to make things happen and sort out issues
The role would be ideal for someone who has performed as a PA or Executive Assistant who is looking for broader experience.
