£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Here at Serco, we are seeking a talented Executive Assistant to support the new Chief Strategy & Growth Officer (CSGO).
In this key role, you will manage the CSGOs diary, supporting them with correspondence and coordinating meetings and events. These varied and fast-paced demands mean the role is best suited to a proactive, self-starter.
Dealing with highly sensitive information and complex issues, sound judgement and positive influencing skills are essential. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and feel confident in representing the CSGO to senior colleagues and external stakeholders.

As part of this you’ll:
Manage and prioritise the CSGO’s diary to ensure most effective use of time
Diarise and orchestrate key meetings and events, circulating pre-reading materials in a timely manner, monitoring responses and following up on actions
Ensure effective and fluid communication is maintained with Executive Committee members, the team, and wider Strategy & Growth community
Organise multi-stop international travel itineraries and overseas visits
Reconcile monthly expenses and manage any ad-hoc purchase orders
Manage HR processes for the CGSO to ensure that all employee documents and changes are kept up to date
Support the wider Group Strategy & Growth Team with administration, colleague onboarding and finance tasks
Assist the CSGO in achieving objectives through guidance on priorities, actions and time management
What you’ll need to do the role:
A strong understanding of the common software packages, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Willing to learn and use internal HR, procurement and administrative processes/systems
Comfortable dealing with people at all levels
Remain calm under pressure and deploy a flexible approach to problem solving
Sets clear goals and standards and is prepared to give feedback and advice
Superb written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail
Organised, self-motivated and focused on the delivery of key objectives where there are multiple and changing demands
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
