Job description
We are currently looking for hard working and enthusiastic people to join our team. This is a physical role as you will be assisting in loading and unloading vehicles with hire equipment. You will need to be customer focussed with good communication skills and enjoy going the extra mile for our customers.
You will be working within the warehouse of Blast Event Hire and assisting in delivering mainly in Bristol/the South West but sometimes as far as London, Brighton, Manchester etc. This role is a key part of the operation, ensuring all equipment is prepared, sent out, delivered, checked back and maintained to the high standards expected by our clients and productions.
This is very physical role, you will need to be hard working, fit and enthusiastic, with strong customer focus.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Prepare equipment for hire
Assisting with loading, delivery and collection of the equipment
Return & Test equipment post hire / use.
Follow warehouse procedure and processes.
Ensure the workplace is a safe environment to work in and address health and safety issues where possible.
Assist in the maintenance of equipment to as high a standard as practically possible.
Provide advice and assistance to customers where required.
Assist in other areas as required (Cleaning Of Equipment)
Ideal candidate (although not all compulsory):
Planning and time management skills
Have a knowledge of catering equipment (training will be provided)
Have a keen eye for detail
Is organised & methodical
Have good interpersonal skills
Display very good customer service skills at all times
Have a positive and proactive approach.

Hours Of Work:
Your hours will be around 40 hours per week
1/2 an hour unpaid lunch break each day.
Be part of the out of hours rota (One weekend per month)
Evenings & weekends may apply during very busy periods at an over time rate

Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £10.50 per hour
