What do we do:
We support the Practice and Operations Managers across our 12 surgeries, to deliver exceptional service and support to our patients and colleagues. We reduce the admin heavy activities involved in running a successful GP surgery, and we complete them within the central team.
What do we need:
We have an exciting opportunity within our Central Services team for a self-motivated Business Support /Executive Assistant to provide essential support to our Central Operations Manager.
About You
You will play an important role in the effective day to day running of the central service. We are looking for someone that is highly organised; have good attention to detail and who can work to and meet tight deadlines; you must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and patient focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.
You will be a ‘can-do' person, who is passionate about high quality service delivery and performance. You will be able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, be customer focused and able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.
Key skills we will be looking for in your personal statement include:
- An ability to support meetings, including the provision of minute taking, outputs and recording of actions.
- Attention to detail with an ability to work accurately e.g., literacy and numeracy.
- Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach to all tasks to ensure business objectives are met.
- Customer service experience, preferably within an NHS, Primary care setting
- Resilience – this job will be full on. But you will learn lots and have a lot of fun
- IT literate with great excel skills.
- An ability to work flexibly as part of a diverse team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision, and the ability to multi-task to cover other roles within the team.
- Experience of dealing with several conflicting and changing priorities effectively to achieve business objectives to tight deadline.
- Hungry to develop. The sky really is the limit with this role.
