Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Communications and Social Media Officer to join the University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum. You will play a key role in the marketing and communications function at the Department and provide vital support. You will support the Department across a range of external and internal marketing activities, working in digital and print media.
You do not need expertise in plants but will have experience of digital, print and social media-led marketing, and have demonstrable knowledge of maintenance and growth of social media presence and engagement across a variety of platforms. You will be responsible for managing the OBGA’s day-to-day activities for the Departmental website and social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn. The Botanic Garden and Arboretum runs a variety of research, education, public engagement and commercial activities and the post holder will be a flexible team player who can adapt to a fast-changing work environment
