About the Role
The Executive Assistant will report to the Chief Operating Officer (Vet Business) and also works alongside both the Joint Venture Council (JVC) and the Vet Leadership Team (VLT) to manage the smooth and efficient day to day support elements of their roles. Office based working from our Handforth (Cheshire) Support Office for 2 days a week
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for arrangement of all relevant meetings, including liaison with other EAs and departments across the business as necessary. Minimise and manager diary conflicts.
- Compile and distribute agendas for all meetings in good time, manage pre-reads and papers, being mindful of the sensitive nature of the topics.
- Complete and distribute minutes and actions as required for meetings above.
- Build and co-ordinate presentations for meetings as required, liaising with colleagues across the business to ensure accuracy of information being shared.
- Schedule 121 meetings as appropriate.
- Responsible for the arrangement of all meetings including meeting rooms/external locations and travel/accommodation/catering where necessary.
- Arrangements for practice visits as required, compiling relevant background and preparatory information.
- Managing and submitting Expenses for COO.
- Raising and releasing of Purchase Orders across the business using SAP.
- Provide any support needed for JVC, including meeting planning, diary management and distribution of papers as necessary.
- Induction and welcome plans for new members of the team.

- Understanding of veterinary profession
- Advanced MS Office Skills
