Role Overview
You'll also be responsible for the diary management, stretching from internal and external meetings, to managing logistics and assisting with agendas and distribution of papers. You'll be preparing briefings internally, keeping records and tracking actions where necessary and ensuring that managers are fully prepared for all meetings.
In addition, you'll be responsible for the inbox management for senior managers including drafting emails, replying where appropriate and following up and categorising emails where necessary.
- Strong experience of providing administrative support in a demanding office environment
- Manage team finance processes including managing and tracking PO activity and invoices and developing and managing a team budget tracker
- In collaboration with the Corporate Secretariat team, proactively manage and maintain governance trackers, ensuring that the team are aware of deadlines and papers are submitted in a timely manner
- Proven ability to organise, prioritise and manage multiple tasks in fast moving environment on own initiative
- Proven ability to support multiple senior managers
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications and able to learn new IT systems quickly
- Experience of developing internal networks to achieve results
- Previous experience of managing project plans would be an advantage
- Previous experience of financial services, pensions or insurance would be an advantage
- A good understanding of operating within regulated services would be beneficial

Directorate/Department Overview
The Risk & Compliance Directorate is made up of six teams and all function as part of the second line of defence. These six teams are Information Security, Compliance Assurance, Enterprise Risk and Compliance Management (including Financial Crime Prevention), Data Protection and Pensions Technical.
The Directorate Assistant role offers first-class administrative support to the Directorate and specifically for the Leadership Team. This role will report to and work closely with senior management. The role has responsibility for providing operational and strategic support across the full range of the Leadership Teams' responsibilities.
