Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, technical, and analytically minded Assistant Specialist Commerce Media to join our expanding team at Night Market. While the desire to learn technical skills and proficiencies are important in this role, the ever-changing eCommerce landscape is evolving at a pace that demands that you must possess adaptability, quick-thinking, and a thirst for rapid-fire learning. In short – Night Market is at the forefront of defining what (and how) our clients need to succeed and innovate across all facets of online commerce, and this individual will be instrumental in supporting that mission.
The Assistant Specialist will report into the Supervisor on a large Retail Media client, and will support the day-to-day logistics of media operations, tactical execution, financial tracking, implementation and maintenance of Retail Media efforts; spanning retail media across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart. This individual will work closely with cross-functional Horizon Media and Night Market teams, and should be comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively while simultaneously delivering top-notch tactical and detail-oriented work.
What You’ll Do
Project Management – 40%
- Keep track of – and communicate - milestones, timelines, and deliverable dates to relevant stakeholders
- Create and maintain and project management workflows, process docs, and documentation as needed
- Detailed oriented running of media ops including tracking media spend and campaign management across multiple brands and platforms
- Establish frameworks of presentation decks; help research and build the content
- Generating weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
- Provide consistent and effective support to Retail Media team
Strategic Planning/Tactical Campaign Management – 35%
- Support Supervisor from client brief to brainstorming to research to crafting a narrative for reco sell-in
- Ensure we deliver on cross-sharing of learnings by creating/maintaining a library of case studies
- Use necessary platforms, such as Prisma and Media Tools, to support delivery of the solutions above, learning new platforms or platform capabilities where needed
- Engage with the Retailers during the campaign to ensure optimizations are being addressed and implemented
- Help identify, troubleshoot, or escalate as needed any issues that emerge during the campaign to ensure effective delivery
- Quickly establish strong connections with investment teams to ensure fluid/ongoing comms; be a trusted partner
- Unlock training opportunities for platform certifications where necessary
Reporting & Analysis - 25%
- Monitor and report on media + eCommerce campaigns on an ongoing basis, providing an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams and the client
- Support team members to draw conclusions and discover actionable implications from large data sets
- Support in determining set-up, including go to market methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each initiative
- Responsible for providing data for dashboards/Excel trackers, as needed by brand and platform, ensuring accuracy and validity of data shown
- Use learnings drawn from data to effectively optimize campaigns

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Appx 1 year relevant digital media experience
- Understanding of data analytics to optimize conversion
- Understanding in retail media platforms (like Amazon, Walmart, Target)
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, identify trend drivers, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to aggregate information and data from multiple sources
- Strong, established familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts

Salary Range
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity.
