Job Summary
The Assistant Specialist will report into the Supervisor on a large Retail Media client, and will support the day-to-day logistics of media operations, tactical execution, financial tracking, implementation and maintenance of Retail Media efforts; spanning retail media across platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Instacart. This individual will work closely with cross-functional Horizon Media and Night Market teams, and should be comfortable collaborating and communicating effectively while simultaneously delivering top-notch tactical and detail-oriented work.
- Keep track of – and communicate - milestones, timelines, and deliverable dates to relevant stakeholders
- Create and maintain and project management workflows, process docs, and documentation as needed
- Detailed oriented running of media ops including tracking media spend and campaign management across multiple brands and platforms
- Establish frameworks of presentation decks; help research and build the content
- Generating weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
- Provide consistent and effective support to Retail Media team
- Support Supervisor from client brief to brainstorming to research to crafting a narrative for reco sell-in
- Ensure we deliver on cross-sharing of learnings by creating/maintaining a library of case studies
- Use necessary platforms, such as Prisma and Media Tools, to support delivery of the solutions above, learning new platforms or platform capabilities where needed
- Engage with the Retailers during the campaign to ensure optimizations are being addressed and implemented
- Help identify, troubleshoot, or escalate as needed any issues that emerge during the campaign to ensure effective delivery
- Quickly establish strong connections with investment teams to ensure fluid/ongoing comms; be a trusted partner
- Unlock training opportunities for platform certifications where necessary
- Monitor and report on media + eCommerce campaigns on an ongoing basis, providing an active voice communicating optimization opportunities and challenges to internal teams and the client
- Support team members to draw conclusions and discover actionable implications from large data sets
- Support in determining set-up, including go to market methodologies, reporting requirements, and optimization requirements, for ensuring full impact and efficiency of each initiative
- Responsible for providing data for dashboards/Excel trackers, as needed by brand and platform, ensuring accuracy and validity of data shown
- Use learnings drawn from data to effectively optimize campaigns

- Understanding of data analytics to optimize conversion
- Understanding in retail media platforms (like Amazon, Walmart, Target)
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, identify trend drivers, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to aggregate information and data from multiple sources
- Strong, established familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts
