We are looking to appoint a crucial member of the Executive Support Team who will work directly in support of the Evelina Executive Team, including our new Chief Executive.
We are looking for an individual who shares our values and ambition, with the drive and commitment to delivering high level support to the Evelina leadership. The post would suit someone who has a track record of delivery, and who is engaging, approachable and customer-focused. Fundamentally, you should be motivated to apply your expertise to supporting the delivery of excellent care to women and children.

The post holder is responsible for providing high quality, efficient and proactive diary management, and high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Clinical Group Chief Executive and one other executive Director to enable them to fulfil their roles effectively. They will be a key point of contact for both executives and must be highly organised and proactive in approach, able to work effectively under pressure and at pace, and able to work in a collegiate and positive way with staff at all levels.
Evelina London Clinical Group is part of the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and we are responsible for providing the Trust’s services for women and children across South London and South East England through our hospital services and community teams. - Co-ordination and planning of the Chief Executive’s (and any other director that may be assigned) activities and resolving complex and conflicting commitments requiring resolution.
- Extensive diary management. Arranging meetings and appointments via the calendar system with both external and internal personnel. This will include liaison with government departments, and other healthcare related organisations.
- Develop and implement effective systems and strategies to manage the activities, heavy workload and efficient use of time of the Evelina CEO or director
- Provide additional diary and meeting coordination support to the senior management team within the Evelina CEO’s Office as needed
- Plan and co-ordinate events such as awaydays/meeting/conferences. Find suitable venues to suit number of delegates, room layout, hospitality and audio visual requirements.
- Undertake all planning & support activities required in respect of senior level committees that the executives chair including preparing agendas, taking minutes to a high standard and in timely manner; ensure collation of reports and papers; follow-up action with owners as appropriate.
- Organise travel and accommodation arrangements for the Evelina CEO and other senior team members where appropriate.
- Monitoring, managing and redistributing all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including post and email, with discretion for urgency and confidentiality
- Deal with and draft responses as necessary to incoming correspondence, including enquiries from various sources particularly the GSTT, Department of Health, other clinical groups and other NHS Trusts.
