Job description

Ground-breaking not-for-profit (NFP) seeking an executive assistant with a proactive approach.

This one-of-a-kind NFP is in the process of forming a high calibre team and looking to grow with the help of an executive assistant: one with a can-do attitude, acute attention to detail and fine-tuned sense of discretion and professionalism.

The NFP is seeking a motivated organiser with a highly professional manner, excellent communication skills and a mindset to help drive the enterprise into the future. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the financial sector and have a solid working knowledge of the investor value chain.

Some of the tasks will be regular and predictable; others will be ad-hoc and require initiative and inventiveness. As assistant to the Chair of a smaller organisation, flexibility and persistence are essential, and in return it offers a rewarding experience with considerable variety, continual learning, as well as opportunities for growth and taking over broader responsibilities over time.

This is a full-time, hybrid role for someone who can commute into central London once every 2-3 weeks.

Main Duties

· Acting as the point of contact for the Chair between team members, clients, and other external partners

· Diary management including scheduling meetings and organising business travel

· Inbox management and correspondence

· Ad hoc research projects across several domains

· Managing files, databases, bookkeeping and subscriptions

· Client and team meeting support and agenda preparation

· Managing content for social media accounts

· Preparation of presentations for various meetings

Skills and Experience

· Minimum 10 years’ experience working as an executive assistant

· Highly professional level of verbal and written communication skills

· Good people skills

· Self-motivation

· Professional discretion

· Flexibility

· Highly IT/tech adept

· Minute attention to detail

· Outstanding time management

· Ability to work under pressure and juggle priorities

· Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Desirable:

· Experience working with institutional investors

· Research capability

· Experience in proofreading and editing

. Familiarity with legal contracts

Start date for this position is ASAP. While this is a full-time role, the working hours are flexible, as is the location, with occasional face to face meetings required in central London. The salary range for this role is £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.

*Please note that, for the time being, the role will be on a contractor, not an employee basis.*

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Work from home

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Senior Executive support: 8 years (required)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in London
