Ground-breaking not-for-profit (NFP) seeking an executive assistant with a proactive approach.
This one-of-a-kind NFP is in the process of forming a high calibre team and looking to grow with the help of an executive assistant: one with a can-do attitude, acute attention to detail and fine-tuned sense of discretion and professionalism.
The NFP is seeking a motivated organiser with a highly professional manner, excellent communication skills and a mindset to help drive the enterprise into the future. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the financial sector and have a solid working knowledge of the investor value chain.
Some of the tasks will be regular and predictable; others will be ad-hoc and require initiative and inventiveness. As assistant to the Chair of a smaller organisation, flexibility and persistence are essential, and in return it offers a rewarding experience with considerable variety, continual learning, as well as opportunities for growth and taking over broader responsibilities over time.
This is a full-time, hybrid role for someone who can commute into central London once every 2-3 weeks.
Main Duties
· Acting as the point of contact for the Chair between team members, clients, and other external partners
· Diary management including scheduling meetings and organising business travel
· Inbox management and correspondence
· Ad hoc research projects across several domains
· Managing files, databases, bookkeeping and subscriptions
· Client and team meeting support and agenda preparation
· Managing content for social media accounts
· Preparation of presentations for various meetings
Skills and Experience
· Minimum 10 years’ experience working as an executive assistant
· Highly professional level of verbal and written communication skills
· Good people skills
· Self-motivation
· Professional discretion
· Flexibility
· Highly IT/tech adept
· Minute attention to detail
· Outstanding time management
· Ability to work under pressure and juggle priorities
· Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Desirable:
· Experience working with institutional investors
· Research capability
· Experience in proofreading and editing
. Familiarity with legal contracts
Start date for this position is ASAP. While this is a full-time role, the working hours are flexible, as is the location, with occasional face to face meetings required in central London. The salary range for this role is £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
