Job description
Term: Permanent, 40 hours a week, based on 5 days out of 7.
Location: Co-op Live, Connell College, 301 Alan Turing Way, Manchester M11 3BS, once open relocate to M1 2EJ & Co-op Live at Eastlands.
Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum + Benefits based on experience

Role Purpose
As we prepare for opening the venue, we’re looking for a Executive Assistant (EA) to be an integral part of the Co-op Live team, providing support to the Executive Director & General Manager as well as the senior leadership team. This is a key role supporting the team in planning, organising and getting ready to open the UK’s largest indoor music arena.
Role Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for the Executive Director & General Manager, supporting the smooth daily operation and movement within the arena
- Be flexible and proactively manage diary schedules and requirements
- Organise team events and meetings, including the managing of organising rooms, equipment, and lunches to make the most of the event time and space
- Prepare meeting agendas, issue documents, and proactively chase actions to keep us moving at pace
- Be present in team meetings, taking minutes and actions
- Manage incoming emails, responding as appropriate, delegating to the leadership team
- Plan, organise and manage travel arrangements for the senior leadership team
- Responsible for the collation of weekly, monthly and board reports
- To maintain the strictest of confidentiality for the Executive Director & General Manager and his team, be proactive in managing data, information and compliance with GDPR
- To support in the day-to-day office management liaising with the facilities team to address any concerns, take control of the office supplies to ensure we’re always stocked up
- Be proactive and providing the team with admin support
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience as a EA or PA working with Execs, Directors and senior leadership teams
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint in particular)
- A team player who enjoys working in a high achieving environment, supporting and inspiring others
- Excellent time management skills and able to multi-task and prioritise work
- An infectious can-do approach
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence to challenge and support across all levels of the team
- Thrive when its buzzing and come into your own with planning and organising others
Desirable
- Experience in the music industry or large stadiums
