THIS IS A ROLE WORKING FULL TIME FROM OUR OFFICE IN DERBY CURRENTLY TRAILING A 4 DAY WORK WEEK
As our Executive Assistant at BULKHEAD you will support our Senior Leadership team with the smooth running of the studio, making sure our Games Developers have everything they require to make the best games possible. You will be able to prioritise and organise your own workload, demonstrate excellent proactiveness and decision-making skills to ensure that queries and issues are resolved in an efficient and timely manner whilst line managing.
This is a versatile role where no two days are the same, your duties will be made up of event management, office management and EA tasks. You will be comfortable with change and are able to easily adapt, you will be able to communicate to a wide variety of people both internally and externally.
// RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all travel across the studio
- Responsible for health and safety across the business including managing our online portal, fire safety, reporting risks and recommending actions
- Responsible for all Legal and Compliance across the business
- Manage all contracts with external providers including scheduling reviews, serving notice and new instructions
- Full diary and mailbox support for the Senior Leadership team
- Responsible for Operational Spend.
- Responsible for completing expense for the Senior Leadership team
- Responsible for keeping the office clean and tidy and the best place for our game devs to work
- Responsible for breakfast and refreshments for the studio
- Manage all stationary
- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail
- Be the main point of contact for anyone accessing the building and create access cards as required
- Send communications across the studio to all levels of game devs
- Responsible for Studio events
- Assist the Brand team with BULKHEAD swag
- Any other reasonable requests made by the Senior Leadership team
// SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience in complex inbox, calendar and expense management
- Ability to manage business sensitive information and confidential matters
- You have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to build long lasting, trusted relationships across all levels of the business
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask.

- Quick reactions to problems and a quick learner

- Passion for gaming is a plus!
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Derby, Derbyshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
