The role
As a Executive Assistant you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll ensure that the Executive team are able to remain organised alongside their daily responsibilities to ensure the business is able to operate smoothly.
- Receive and assess incoming mail, respond directly on routine matters, direct elsewhere or present to executive, including (where necessary) obtain and provide additional relevant information from other departments
- Take incoming telephone calls and visitors, refers to executive where necessary and acts as focal point and filter for calls and visitors
- Schedule appointments, co-ordinate complex travel and accommodation arrangements and produces itineraries that optimise use of executive’s time
- Collate and circulate information where issues may be particularly sensitive or confidential
Essential experience of the Executive Assistant,
- Evidence of skill gathered through experience
- Extensive experience working at a senior level with above average secretarial skills
- Ability to handle issues of high sensitivity
- Thorough understanding of organisational dynamics
- Familiar with full range of department activities, contacts (internal and external), software and computer systems
This is a hybrid working role based in the UK with three - four days required onsite in Bristol and the rest working from home.
Qualifications for the Executive Assistant,
- Secretarial qualification is desirable
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance level for this role.
