We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to be part of our fast-paced Commercial Leadership Team, providing first line support to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

You will manage all aspects of the CCO’s day-to-day activities, including diary management and meeting preparation, and will represent the CCO in both internal and external interactions. You will keep abreast of all activities and projects across the Commercial department in order to prioritise effectively, and will provide project management support when required.

Who we are

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Your day-to-day

  • Manage the CCO's email inbox and ensure an effective system is in place to proritise, proactively seeking out ways to improve email and communication management.
  • Respond to emails on behalf of the CCO where appropriate, being able to provide clear business understanding as well as alignment to our brand and tone of voice.
  • Hold overall responsibility of the CCO's diary, using business knowledge and understanding to prioritise meetings appropriately, ensuring their purpose and a clear agenda.
  • Attend meetings with the CCO or on their behalf, preparing all necessary information and documents in advance, taking minutes of meetings where required and following up on action points.
  • Remain informed and keep abreast of all Commercial wide projects and current workstreams, as well as wider club priorities to ensure accurate prioritisation of the CCO’s time and attention.
  • Carry out background research, collate and present findings in a clear manner along with any recommendations as well as leading on smaller projects.
  • Manage all admin tasks on behalf of the CCO, such as expenses, holiday requests and business travel.

Required:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced EA role, supporting a senior leader.
  • Proven relevant experience in managing communications, diaries and completing administrative duties.

Skills and Experience:

  • Someone who is proactive and uses their initiative to solve problems and suggest new ways of doing things.

  • Positive and friendly with a can-do attitude, and someone who represents our brand and values to the highest standard.
  • Excellent business and commercial understanding.
  • A high level of integrity, discretion and dependability with a passion for high quality work.
