Executive Assistant to the CEO
Arabesque specialises in making sustainability, corporate responsibility, and ESG mainstream.
Founded in 2013, as a management buy-out from Barclays Bank Plc, we’re a story of partnership between leaders in finance, mathematics, and sustainability, working together to develop the next generation of sustainable asset management and data. We are seeking a highly accomplished Executive Assistant with experience supporting CEO level stakeholders to work directly with our CEO. Utilising your excellent business sense and strategic planning, partnered be your excellent communications skills you will manage the day-to-day coordination of the CEO’s working schedule.
Arabesque’s businesses are:
- Asset Management: sustainable & quantitative investment management business using self-learning quantitative models.
- ESG Book: dedicated and wide range of cloud-based sustainability products and solutions used by many of the world's leading financial organisations which collectively manage over $120 trillion.
- Artificial Intelligence: a dedicated AI research business developing AI and big data capabilities for financial services.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years experience managing a single senior stakeholder (CEO, COO, CFO etc)
- Complete diary management including scheduling of internal and external meetings including video and conference calls
- Regular interaction with external and internal EA’s including coordinating conference calls with international offices and associated time zones
- Booking business travel and accommodation, visas, meeting rooms, meeting venues etc
- Perform key research responsibilities as well as chase important commercial deal components
- Answering all calls professionally and in a timely manner
- Compilation of and completion of expense claims
- Arranging internal and external events (virtual and in person)
- Paying invoices and raising purchase orders
- Arranging printing and domestic and international couriers
To be successful in this role you will likely:
- Degree qualified or above excellent communication skills
- Have experience in providing executive support within the Financial Services / Investment Management services industry
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to understanding the nature of the business and priorities of the CEO
- Evidence exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Be resourceful, with a proactive attitude who can work independently
- Be highly articulate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have excellent judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence which is reflected in your ability to work with various personality types.
- Being fluent in German would be highly desirable but not essential
