Job Title: Executive Assistant
Location: Edinburgh, Hybrid
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – 32,000

AJ Connect are on the hunt for an efficient, proactive Executive Assistant with an innovative sports technology company.

Based in Edinburgh, the innovative sports technology company is revolutionising athlete training by bridging the gap between amateur and professional levels with advanced data analytics. Using their unique GPS-led technology and in-house app, they cater to a wide array of athletes and teams. With a significant surge in their user base, now encompassing over 18,000 athletes and 560 teams in the UK and Ireland, they are ambitiously eyeing global expansion, especially in the US.

This crucial role entails managing emails, calendars, and ensuring the company's executives operate at peak efficiency. While reporting to the COO, the chosen candidate will predominantly liaise with the CEO. Their primary responsibilities will revolve around prioritising tasks and projects, assuring that nothing is overlooked. The role's scope might also extend to various operational tasks, promising a multifaceted, dynamic experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the Executive Team to provide effective support and increased value to multiple Senior Leaders
  • Extensive diary management and planning for the CEO
  • Preparing appropriate agendas, materials, briefing packs ahead of meetings
  • Managing multiple senior leaders emails
  • Coordinating and booking complex travel and accommodation requirements, and ensuring logistical arrangements are in place to meet those requirements (incl.cross-time zone management)
  • Managing expenses
  • Prioritise tasks for others and holding them accountable
  • Keeping the Operations team informed and collaborating with them on various tasks
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required
The ideal candidate must have
  • Demonstrable 1 year experience in an administrative role
  • Experience of diary management
  • Unparalleled organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise
  • Be calm under pressure, ability to respond to every-changing challenges and priorities
  • Methodical coordination skills and logical thinking
  • Ability to quickly learn new IT systems and processes
