Job description
The School of Politics, Economics and International Relations seeks a highly motivated and professional Administrator to join its School Executive Administration Team. The individual will be expected to provide high quality, professional administrative support to the School, with a key focus on delivering and supporting in-house and University wide events, website editing and management of the School’s social media.
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate they have a good understanding of relevant systems and processes, as well as support the enhancement of the services provided through the development of new processes and service improvements.
You will have:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to ensure effective liaison and communication with a range of stakeholders
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills with a range of IT packages and systems (incl. Microsoft Office)
- Ability to provide a high standard of customer service
- Ability to maintain administrative and where necessary, financial records
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve team goals
