Role Description

We’re looking for a Marketing Finance Assistant to assist the Marketing Finance manager and Marketing Team to budget, plan and report on all aspects of the Marketing budgets – for the department and for individual campaigns.
You will be working as part of a Campaigns Team, together with our Creative, PR and Digital teams to produce best in class marketing plans across our music and comedy tours.
Reporting into the Marketing Finance Manager, you will be committed, ambitious, passionate and determined to do great work and have a passion for live music and entertainment.
You will be surrounded and supported by smart creative people and you’ll be motivated to refuse to accept that something cannot be done. Where there is a will there is way attitude is essential!
Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- An interest in marketing and accounting
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- A basic knowledge of Oracle would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with a proven ability to manage large budgets and costs
- Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail

What the role includes
- Assist with the financial and marketing administration, processing invoices and reconciling marketing budgets
- Assist the finance manager on running projection budgets for different event scenarios. Can include changes in the number of show days, capacities etc. plus working on the creation of new events
- Assist the Tour accounts team and Senior Management Accountants to ensure shows are reconciled a timely manner throughout the year working with the Tour Accounting team / Operations / Show Project Accountant(s) to resolve reconciling items
- To undertake ad hoc projects as requested by the Head of Department
