MTS Ltd is a dynamic exam services company and online language school. We are experts in the growing fields of computer-based testing and remote proctoring.
The position:
- We are looking for new invigilators to help administer IELTS (English Language) at our test venue. It is a busy environment and can be a stressful day for our test takers, so this role will suit people who are calm and approachable, with a good sense of humour.
- This role would suit someone looking for flexible, piecemeal and part-time work. On average, invigilators work 1 or 2 days each month.
- Invigilators report to the Chief Invigilator, who coordinates the test on the day.

Job description:
- Preparing the room, i.e. putting up clocks, start and finish time notices, seating plans.
- Cleaning the room after the exam, i.e. emptying bins, sweeping up pencil shavings, etc, and leave the room ready for the next exam.
- Registering test takers as they arrive.
- Admitting test takers to the exam room in a quiet and orderly way.
- Conducting the exam according to the regulations of the exam provider
- Being constantly vigilant to ensure exam regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Returning all confidential materials to the Exams Officer at the end of the test.
- Commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of our test takers.
- Must have long-term eligibility to work in the UK.
- Good command of the English language.
- IT literate.
- A good eye for detail.
- Good team player.
- Great customer service skills.
- Willingness to undertake training.
- Punctual and reliable.

Successful candidates will then be offered roles, subject to reference checks. You will get support from our head office Exams team and all the training will be provided.
We will then send you an availability request email at the start of each month so you can let us know when you are available to work, after that we will schedule you in.
Pay information:
Payments are made a month in arrears, provided you submit a valid timesheet by the end of each month.
