Ashton Sixth Form College is the founding organisation of Stamford Park Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust established in February 2019. All members of staff at Ashton Sixth Form College are employed by Stamford Park Trust.
The College is in the top 10% in the country for student progress on vocational courses and the top 25% in the country for A Level value added. The college achieved an "Outstanding" rating in its last Ofsted inspection in January 2020. The college has been recognised as one of the top ten Sixth Form Colleges in the north-west and is a major provider of quality academic and vocational post 16 education. We currently have the following vacancy:
Examinations Invigilator
Grade 3 - £11.95 per hour (including holiday pay)
Required for the 2023/24 academic year - Casual/Seasonal contract
Seasonal working during examination periods (November to June inclusive). You must provide availability for at least 4 whole days per week (or 8 mornings/afternoons) and be available to work at least 3 whole days per week (or 5 mornings/afternoons).
We are recruiting seasonal examination invigilators to join our current team, to contribute to the effective and efficient running of all our extensive programme of internal and external examinations during the 2023/24 academic year.
Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided - your willingness to learn along with your relilability and flexibility are more important. The successful candidates will have high standards and will be highly committed and enthusiastic. They will be able to work both under direction and on their own initiative. Working previously as an invigilator, within an educational establishment or with young people would be an advantage.
