We are currently looking for a new team member to join our Exam Department. The successful candidate will support us with the day-to-day office’s duties during the week as well as on the weekends when it's needed. This role requires the ability to handle confidential data with discretion and a high level of attention to detail, including a high level of accuracy when processing information. A willingness to follow the procedures is essential. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with the ability to work as part of a team but also independently. Key Responsibilities and tasks: Assisting with pre-test preparations (processing test applications, assembling exam bags, organising exam rooms, allocating candidates/examiners, ensuring all materials/equipment is in order) Assisting with post-test administration (including entering results data, coordinating the return and storage of answer sheets, securely disposing of papers, scanning of exam materials, preparing certificates)Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to computer-based exams (training will be provided) Meeting with candidates who enquire about exams at the school and providing them with detailed information about exams Answering enquiries over the telephone and via email Entering candidate data onto the databases, maintain accurate records of exam attendance, incidents, and any other relevant information. Liaising with colleges regarding exam bookings Processing candidates’ payments and accurately maintaining financial records. Supporting the Exams Operation Manager with any changes of software used for the administration of exams. Fulfilling the role of Test Day Supervisor/ Invigilator on exam days (Wednesdays and Saturdays) as per requirement. Assist in training new invigilation staff. Attend a minimum of two Saturday test days per month. Be flexible as per operational requirement. Qualifications and Requirements: Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills. Approachable, flexible and able to cope in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills, face to face, via email and telephone. Excellent level of English. Exceptional organisational skills with a high attention to detail. Strong computer skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Fast learner. Well-presented & punctual. Right to work in the UK. Available to travel to Brighton/ Bournemouth school with TDS if required. Degree desirable. Bayswater is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
