We are proud to support a Secondary School in the Greater Manchester area in their search for exam officer to support the fast-approaching busy Spring/Summer exam period.
About the role:
- Start date: ASAP - ongoing until July 2023
- The role is temporary and the working hours are Mon-Fri, between 8:00am and 5:00pm
- You will be joining a team of exam invigilators with a range of experience, supporting them during this busy period.
- This is a part-time role, working 5 days per week.
- Flexible working schedules will also be considered.
- Pay rate: £10.50-£12.50 per hour.
Your responsibilities:
- Meeting and greeting students, ensuring exam rules are followed at all times.
- Time keeping.
- Preparing the exam hall for students.
- Collecting and storing all examination equipment and exam papers, ensuring the correct procedures are followed.
- Escort students in the event of a fire alarm, ensuring that fire safety procedures are followed, while maintaining the rules and instructions of the examination.
About you:
- You are flexible and punctual.
- You are able to follow strict rules and instructions.
- You are able to work individually and as part of a team.
- You are able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
No previous experience in an exam invigilator role is required, however a knowledge and understanding of the examination process is beneficial.
