About the role

We are seeking to appoint Invigilators to join our experienced team in ensuring the smooth and compliant operation of a range of exams at Avonbourne Boys’ and Girls’ Academies. The main external examinations take place in May and June each year, but we also have a range of other exams running throughout the academic year, so hours are available during other exam periods.

You must be able to commit to either mornings, afternoons or ideally both during our busy exam periods and provide your availability at least one month in advance.

About you

  • Previous experience as an Invigilator is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good role model to students
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • Have basic IT knowledge as you may need to work with students who use read/write software.
  • Be able to work well and use initiative on your own or as part of a team
