Exam InvigilatorContract: Casual (During academic School year)Salary: £10.60 per hour plus 14.41% holiday enhancement (plus National Joint Council for Local Government Services pay award, effective April 23 TBC)Due to safer recruitment guidelines we are only able to accept fully completed application forms. Please visit www.woodrush.org/page/?title=Vacancies&pid=200We are seeking to appoint experienced and non experienced (as full training will be given) and committed exam invigilators to work on a casual basis during the school academic year to ensure the smooth running of examinations in accordance with publicised guidelines.You must be available to work during the main examination times mostly during November, January, March, May and June, with extra days possible at other times of year as required.You will also need to be flexible, punctual and reliable and have regular access to an email account. Successful candidates must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, and work upon their own initiative as well as part of a team.Full training will be given and it is expected that the successful applicants will attend further training sessions and meetings at Woodrush Academy as required.We can offer you:Local Government pension scheme.Excellent training opportunities.An opportunity to work in a continuing developing school.Situated in a pleasant suburban area on the borders of Birmingham, Solihull and Worcestershire (only 5 minutes from Junction 3 of the M42), Woodrush High School is an over-subscribed 11-18 mixed Academy and has an excellent reputation locally and nationally.
