Job description
We are looking for Exam Invigilators to join our team. We have regular assessments and exams throughout the year and facilitate these with a team of well trained, skilled and positive individuals.
We are particularly looking for candidates who are available in the evening until around 6.00 pm and at least one candidate who is able to attend our Higham Ferrers Campus.
Your duties
You will:
- Set up exam spaces to specified requirements
- Welcome students and distribute exam papers
- Contribute to the effective maintenance of exam conditions
- Collect papers at the end of examinations in accordance with awarding body requirements
- Support smaller groups or individuals as a reader of scribe in assessments in line with authorised support plans
Person specification
The successful candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, abilities and qualities will include:
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to work to clear guidelines
- Experience of working in a similar role (desirable, though not essential)
- Flexible approach to work
- Experience working with young people
