King Edward VI College, Stourbridge is a sixth form college and a member of the Heart of Mercia Trust. The college specialises in the delivery of A levels for 16- to 19-year-olds, offering a broad curriculum with extensive enrichment opportunities. The college is a vibrant, inclusive community with over 2000 students from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds, all united in their enthusiasm for learning.
We are looking for a pool of exam invigilators for our exam periods across the year.
The purpose of the role is to invigilate examinations following documented processes, procedures and regulations to ensure examinations are conducted in a secure and suitable environment.
Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, a confident and assertive manner and a flexible approach to working hours.
Training will be provided for the role.
This is a zero-hour contract with no mutuality of obligation. Salary will be paid in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Association support staff pay scale. You will be paid £10.38 per hour for invigilation and £11.71 per hour if in charge for the session. In addition to your pay you will also receive 13.53%, for each hour worked, for holiday pay.
