Exam Interlocutor and Invigilator Chelmsford, England
Job description
We are looking to recruit interlocutors and invigilators for our English language examinations in Chelmsford. The role requires you to be part of a team delivering a professional examination service, ensuring a calm environment giving test takers the best possible opportunity to be successful. The successful applicants will be expected to cover both roles
Interlocutors will be required to conduct and record face-to-face role play with candidates
Invigilators will administrate, invigilate and supervise candidates sitting for examinations, ensuring compliance with the exam board requirements and codes of conduct.
Tests are usually held on Saturdays and Sundays. You would be expected to work between 8:30am and 6:00pm. Shifts can vary in length between 5-10 hours.

- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to adhere to strict security procedures
- Keen eye for details
- Good customer care
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability and confidence to speak in front of a group of people
- Ability to cope with changes/difficult situations
- Confident in using a computer
- Diligent in upholding the integrity of the exam
You will be provided with
- Full training
- Minimum hourly rate of £11.18 per hour
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £11.18-£12.09 per hour
