BDS are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing support worker to work with vulnerable adults in the Bournemouth area,

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a support worker to provide flexible, holistic and short-term support to clients with a wide range of support needs, with the aim of them achieving their own accommodation at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of clients in properties in your allocated patch in Bournemouth.

You will carry out property inspections and report repairs promptly to ensure we provide quality homes for our clients.

You will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of support planning and safeguarding as well as experience of working with vulnerable adults with complex needs (such as substance misuse, physical health, mental health, seeking employment and housing support).

The role offers flexible working in the community, and you can work from home in between property visits. You will regularly meet with your team and manager to discuss and reflect on complex cases. You will be required to travel for training and team meetings and be flexible to cover other local patches as required.

This role provides an excellent springboard into other criminal justice professions including experience of working with a range of criminal justice agencies. In addition, you will gain experience in liaising local authority Housing Benefit departments and the DWP to resolve financial issues.
It is essential you have experience of working with ex offenders and have knowledge of housing and bail services.
You will also need to be a driver with access to a car

Pay of £11.16 per Hours
