Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Work Tuesday- Saturday, between 5.30am and 6am start
- Deliver goods to local convenience stores
- Handball products and use tail lifts and pallet trucks
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have at least 6 months time served experience in a Class 2 driving role
