Waiter/Waitress (Events) – 1 Lombard Street
Our Venue:
1 Lombard Street is a European brasserie situated inside a beautiful Grade II listed building in the heart of the City. Established in 1998, this grand old venue consists of the 1 Lombard Street Brasserie, 1776 Restaurant, and the impressive Dome Bar, plus Private Dining Rooms. For over 20 years, 1 Lombard Street has been where the City meets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The role:
We are looking for an events waiter/waitress who is energetic and friendly and has tons of personality. A good conversational knowledge of English is a necessity. The person we are looking for needs to be comfortable to work on their own and as part of the team. They need to have initiative, think on the fly and adapt quickly to change. They would also need to Adhere to safety and quality regulations.
They will assist with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, tablecloths and place settings, and buffets. Support other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an established company with a 20+ years of history at the top end of the London restaurant scene, and to further your career within the hospitality industry. The schedule is flexible with most shifts taking place Monday to Friday. Shift time would vary between 4 and 10 hours with occasional shifts on Saturday/ Sunday mostly in the afternoon.
