Events Officer
Salary: £21,958- £22,961 (A21 – A25) per annum
Basis: Full time, Permanent
Reaseheath, one of the UK’s leading land-based colleges, are looking to recruit an experienced Events Officer to join the marketing department.
You will work closely with the Events Manager in the development and delivery of a first-class events programme, designed to promote the work of the college to a wide-reaching audience.
You will organise an exciting variety of events from start to finish, using your creativity and eye for detail to bring each event to life.
This role is key to ensuring that events run professionally, safely and provide an excellent customer experience. As part of this you will identify new opportunities and ways to continual improve each event.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you will work alongside colleagues in the wider marketing team, to ensure that events are promoted, staffed and that relevant marketing materials are produced. You will also play a key role in ensuring that event information is communicated across the college to those involved.
You should have excellent administrative and IT skills and some experience of running online events would be beneficial.
Excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential. Experience of working to multiple deadlines and within budget are key to this role.
Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
