At a glance:

  • Salary range - The budgeted salary range for this role is set at £42,000 - £63,000

  • Contract type - This position is a fixed term contract until August 2024

  • Flexible working - This is a blended working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.

About the role:

As the Events Manager you will be leading the Events team to deliver a successful program of customer experiences and events both in store and virtually resulting in exemplary customer satisfaction

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting your team to deliver events, experiences, creative concepts and key brand moments

  • Working as the subject matter expert within your field, implementing knowledge on a number of cross-functional work-streams to deliver successful experiences for our customers

  • Supporting major projects as well as delivering certain projects independently across category areas on/in both in store and virtual platforms

What will you be doing?

  • Building a market leading “always on” calendar of experiences in store and virtually

  • Building effective relationships with stakeholder and 3rd parties

  • Be the supportive link with Retail and Event Management Coordinators (EMCs)

  • Analysing data and creating trackers to inform future events strategy and planning

  • Putting systems and processes in place to deliver events and efficiently with a continuous improvement mindset

Essential skills you’ll need:

  • People management experience

  • Relevant and proven event management experience

  • Wide cross-functional stakeholder, collaborative project and programme working experience

  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders and team members to reach common goals and develop strong working relationships throughout the business

  • Understanding of assessing risk

  • Highly organised and an ability to multitask and prioritise

  • Strong digital events knowledge and experience

  • Customer focused approach with an understanding of key customer success metrics

Desirable skills you’ll have:

  • Qualifications or professional events management qualification

  • Strong presentation skills

  • In house and agency experience

  • Experience working in agile and cross-matrixed organisations

  • Experience in the retail sector
