Job description
This is a newly created role for an Events Manager who will lead and drive the creation of a year-round events programme across the College. The roleholder will draw together existing events and identify opportunities for additional events that will be managed and coordinated within a single calendar. The role requires strong project management capability and will involve researching events as well as planning & delivery. Budget management will form part of this role. Having strong customer-centric behaviours is essential for this role. This role involves line management responsibility. This is a full-time role which will require some out of hours working that will be proportionate to the Events Calendar.
You’ll be commercially-focussed with a keen a for an opportunity! You’ll bring strong interpersonal & communication skills and be skilled in managing 3rd party relationships. You’ll also need to be happy to self-start and build the role to deliver a full Events Calendar but you'll be working with some energetic and motivated colleagues along the way. This is a full-time position 37.5 hours per week and the rate of pay is £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
