Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Co-ordinator to join York Conferences and Events, based at the University of York. You will be responsible for contributing to the development, operation and income generation of York Conferences and Events through set targets. The post holder will be the one point of contact throughout the ‘customer journey’ from the initial enquiry through to the final invoice. All tasks are to be carried out demonstrating an efficient, proactive and professional service at all times following set guidelines and procedures.
The successful candidate will actively promote our facilities and liaise closely with clients to ensure the smooth running of events, maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism throughout. You should have excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of working in a busy sales or events environment. The hours are 37 per week. Flexibility and occasional evening and weekend work is required.
The salary is £27,029.37 per annum
