Location: Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice, 185 Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood, SE2
Salary: GBCH Band 2 - £12,531 - £13,527 (20 hours per week)
We are seeking a Housekeeper who is interested in joining our growing housekeeping team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play an important part in providing a safe environment for all patients, staff and visitors to the hospice The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standard of cleanliness required at the Hospice, including emptying of bins, sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, polishing, cleaning toilets, re stocking toilet/washroom paper products and the provision of a laundry service to meet the needs of the Hospice.
Working as part of our housekeeping team, it is essential that the successful candidate is able to work using their own initiative to ensure that the standards expected at the Hospice are met and exceeded.
Successful candidates will be required as part of the housekeeping rota system
A working knowledge of Health & Safety, with previous cleaning experience ideally in a Health care environment would be advantageous.
