Foundation Coffee House is seeking an enthusiastic events assistant to join the rest of our fun and friendly crew in Manchester

We’ve recently taken on a fully fitted events space in the centre of Manchester. This is a big opportunity for the right candidate to take control of the space, give our clients the best experience possible leading to repeat business and continually building a great rapport.

Reporting to and working alongside our Events & Communications manager, you will be at the forefront for running our events whilst assisting in expanding the brands portfolio and activations. Another important role will be developing all aspects of our social media platforms plus other communication channels.

The desired candidate will have experience in F&B however comprehensive events experience and being able to juggle a large workload is necessary to succeed in this role and above all else, your attitude towards the job is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist with all events, ranging from small meetings to weddings and corporate events
  • Assist with planning every aspect, such as venue, seating, menus, equipment
  • Host events both internally and externally
  • Assist and manage event set ups and breakdowns
  • Ensure the space looks its best for all events
  • Full ownership of Foundations online social media channels
  • Complete logistical tasks
  • Positively represent the brand and business via networking
  • Create new partnerships with brands and business for activations and pop up events
  • Support with marketing tasks

Essential Requirements

  • Proven project management skills
  • An outstanding can do attitude
  • Comprehensive events experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Great time keeping
  • Ability to manage a small team
  • Ability to work anti-social hours
  • 2 years experience in a similar role is desired

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
