Job Title: Events and Admin Coordinator
Location: Home Based with some travel as and when required for events. LONDON
Salary: £22,000 per annum (pro rata)
Weekly Hours: 18 - Approximately 3 days a week, in agreement with Board of Trustees
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension depending on funding)

About the role
We are looking for an Events and Admin Coordinator to support AWN with the delivery and promotion of our yearly events for small non-profits. Every year we host a number of webinars and face to face events and we are now entering a period of increased activity as we come out of the pandemic years and need someone to join us with the next stage of our activities.
The Events and Admin Coordinator will take lead on the organisation of events with the support of the trustees and the Charity and Funder Lead. You will need to possess some creative skills and have some experience of creating marketing posts for events to advertise across our social media platforms, website and relevant organisations. Full support will be provided at all times.
You will also be tasked with various administrative duties to include working with our customer relationship management system (CRM) and assisting other staff members with their project tasks.

To work on the following:
- Promoting AWN work and sharing with others to attend AWN events etc.
- General event support, such as welcoming participants to event sites, supporting with set-up and pack down of the event, providing information to participants and checking in registration of participants.
- Manage the data inputting side of HubSpot CRM of existing contacts. Ensuring duplications are removed, all orgs have full information that links to event attendance data.
- Manage the general day to day administrative tasks for the charity.
- Support the Funder and Charity lead plus other staff and trustees with admin support where required.
This new role will require the person to take lead for their own work, know the charity sector and Muslim communities very well. As a small organisation with a big impact, you will be working closely with the Board, staff and volunteers.
Holidays: 22 + Bank holidays (pro rata)
