About Us
Visitors to Brighton i360 can take to the skies and see Brighton and the south coast as they have never seen them before.
Guests glide up slowly to 138m (450ft) in a fully enclosed glass viewing pod to enjoy breath taking 360° views from the world’s tallest moving observation tower, which was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects, creators of the London Eye.
We also have 10 great, flexible event spaces available for private hire, including weddings, parties and corporate occasions.
Role Overview
Based in our Sales Office, you will be responsible for coordinating events from enquiry stage right up until the day of the event. You will build strong relationships with the team and clients as appropriate ensuring clients receive the first-class service they expect.
Main Responsibilities
To work closely with the Event Sales Manager ensuring clients and events are ready for the day to run smoothly including:
- All administration prior to the event
- Liaising with the client to confirm event timings
- Confirming the room layout preferences and advising housekeeping in advance of the day
- Creating internal & external functions sheets
- Preparing all signage for the events including but not limited to signs, name cards, etc.
- Ensuring all documentation is correct and available in good time, including details of the main contact and telephone number along with health and safety requirements
- Pass all details to the Operational team in plenty of time for the event to be run smoothly
- Updating the event details (in conjunction with the Senior Venue Sales Executive) to ensure everything is correct to run on the day
- To deal with customer written, email or telephone enquiries assisting customers with information as required by the wider team
- To undertake administrative tasks including responding to written enquiries, sending out brochures, contracts and invoices
- To ensure that clients are kept up to date with the latest information from Brighton i360 on, for example, event special offers and promotions or any operational issues that may directly affect their event

About You
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with clients over the telephone and in writing
- Flexible attitude
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT Skills – proficient in Microsoft Office and able to use departmental systems and databases
- Able to work accurately and show attention to detail
- Experience of working in a busy events team would be desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload on own initiative
Job Hours
This is a full-time position with the typical working hours being Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm however weekend and evening work may be required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
