Charity MILF (Mum I Like To Fund) is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Events Manager/Planner to join their team. This role will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a memorable launch party for the organization in the vibrant city of London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life.
Responsibilities
- *Event Planning: Develop a comprehensive event plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. *Logistics Management: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources and oversee logistical aspects. *Program Development: Design an engaging program that aligns with the event's theme and objectives. *Marketing and Promotion: Assist in developing promotional materials and execute a marketing strategy for the event. *Participant Management: Facilitate registration processes, respond to inquiries, and coordinate participant logistics. *On-Site Event Management: Oversee event setup, registration, and operations to ensure a smooth experience. *Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct evaluations, analyze event success, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- *Proven event management or planning experience. *Strong organizational and multitasking skills. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Detail-oriented mindset with meticulous attention to logistics. *Ability to work independently and meet project timelines. *Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Please note that this is a one-off volunteer contractor position for the charity Launch event in London.
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
