Job description
Researching samples, products, set dressing & ordering on line
Research, plan, design & overview area plans for up and coming small events, launches & photoshoots
Designing mood boards, creating room layouts & area mock-ups
Ordering items for event dressing, hired pieces & then returns for both purchased and hired set / dressing
Research, planning & designs for up and coming creative postal send-outs
On-line research, budgets & sourcing of items for creative send-outs / mail-outs for beauty & consumer clients
Client liaison on day to day matters by phone & e-mail
Updating company social media with new projects
General day to day admin: spreadsheets relating to ongoing projects, same day & overnight couriers, etc.
A confident and creative candidate with a good sense of humour would be ideal
A good knowledge of MS Office & basic knowledge of Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign
Everyday knowledge of social media
An organised individual who can naturally prioritise & work through a project step by step, sometimes at a fast pace as client deadlines can be short or last minute
Able to think for themselves and find solutions to small issues & simple problems
To work happily within a small team, sometimes on their own, and should always be keen to take direction
The backbone of our events & creative mailouts are consumer beauty & cosmetics, so an interest in this area would be helpful, but not necessary
We are in London (Postcode: N19 4NF) so the candidate should be based in the Greater London area and able to get to us without a very long or difficult commute
The work is generally studio based, and due to the nature of the business working from home is not generally an option
Our standard office hours are 10:00 - 18:30
When we are setting up or taking down events (usually in central London), the start and finish time is very much dependant on the actual event timings, so the candidate needs to occasionally be flexible with working hours
We are a bespoke design & event styling company who have been creating product launch events & creative mailouts for a huge range of clients since 2001.
At the core of us there are four full time & two freelance members of staff.
We design, create & install set & dressing for launch events, photo shoots & pop up shops. We also design, create, pack and send out creative mail-outs while events
We are based near Finsbury Park, off Hornsey Road N19
In brief we are looking for an organised, keen, lively & creative candidate. The fit of the personality within the small team is as important as the skills you can bring to the role.
Start date: 4th September - 10th November 2023
Salary: £1,500 - 1,800 PCM based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 10 weeks
Salary: £1,600.00-£1,900.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
We work in a good sized light and airy studio with sanitiser to hand & antibacterial spray wherever needed. We keep the space as naturally ventilated as possible and ensure there is space when working.
