Job Description:

Graffiti Stars, an art company specialising in organising and running street art events across the country, is seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Creative Event Support Staff and Assistant. This is an urgent hire with an immediate start, and the position requires travel.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Coordination:Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute art events incising workshops and event across various locations in the country.
Assist in organizing logistics, including venue selection, equipment rental, and transportation arrangements.
Coordinate with artists, vendors, and participants to ensure smooth event operations.

On-site Event Support:Set up and dismantle event spaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and artistically presented.
Provide assistance during art workshops, exhibitions, and live painting sessions.
Support artists and participants with their creative needs, answering questions and troubleshooting issues.

Artist Liaison:Serve as a point of contact for participating artists, ensuring they have all necessary information and materials.
Assist artists in setting up their workspaces and provide any requested support throughout the event.
Facilitate communication between artists and attendees, encouraging engagement and collaboration.

Customer Service:Greet and assist event attendees, providing a positive and welcoming environment.
Answer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Collect feedback and suggestions from participants to improve future events.

Promotion and Marketing:Support the marketing team in promoting events through various channels, such as social media and local networks.
Assist with the creation and distribution of event materials, including flyers, posters, and online content.
Capture high-quality photographs and videos of events for promotional purposes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in event planning, preferably in the art or creative industry.
  • Passion for art and a good understanding of different artistic mediums and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with artists, participants, and team members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to travel frequently and work on weekends or evenings as required.
  • Proficiency in using various software and online platforms for event coordination and promotion.
  • Physical stamina to set up and dismantle event spaces, often involving lifting and carrying equipment.
