About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for an evening van driver based in WC1 working a four on four off shift pattern from 19.00 to 07.00. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and delivering specimen samples and blood transfusion products within the M25.
The role involves collecting samples from clients and their safe and efficient delivery to the company premises, as well as the delivery of reports, supplies and other goods to clients. The position will also involve carrying out duties in line with the 'Courier Procedures Manual’ and to ensure that communication procedures are operational during duties.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within the courier or healthcare field and at least 3 years driving experience. You will also be required to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Please be aware that this role involves dealing with Blood Transfusion and Major Haemorrhage situations, full training will be provided.
