Job description
Monday - Friday, 17:00 - 20:00
· General tidying which will include vacuuming, polishing, emptying of bins, replenishing supplies etc.
· Disposal of waste to external bins, to include checking the correct waste streams are in the correct waste bins for recycling collections.
· Cleaning of toilets, kitchen, offices, hallways and stairs.
· Carry out any/all cleaning duties as requested by your supervisor/management team.
· Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all “safe systems of work” and risk assessment directions.
· Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
· Wear the provided uniform and the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times.
· Comply with all statutory First Choice Facilities Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
· Comply with all First Choice Facilities security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.
· Provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance.
· Assist with any special duties requested, some of which may occur outside normal working hours.
· Assist and report to Cleaning Manager any complaints/incidents relating to accidents, fire, theft or loss, damage or any other irregularities and take action if practicable.
· Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client, as requested.
· Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks, as directed by the cleaning supervisor/cleaning manager.
· Ensure all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the cleaning supervisor/manager.
· Follow the instructions given on task cards to ensure tasks are carried out correctly.
· Report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the cleaning supervisor.
· Report all building defects to the cleaning supervisor.
· Carry out any reasonable request, as specified by the cleaning supervisor/manager.
· Ensure safety signs are used appropriately at all times.
· Ensure that you are aware of the H&S folder on site
· Report any accidents and Near Misses
· Ensure all compliance/auditing records are completed accurately
· Client expectations managed professionally
· Ensure that communication is constant
· Order stock for the designated area where applicable.
· Attend all company meetings and training as requested.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
