Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, flexibility is required

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Ensure that DHL service providers have agreed and sign off any contingency plan and have the correct resources available to act upon the plan, includes vendors. Carriers, EU and Uk consolidation sites, DHL Hams Hall Xdock etc..
- Liaise with DHL carriers to arrange transport for the contingency planning, sourcing other carriers where required to smooth out the collection plan as much as possible.
- Liaise with Billing/Payable Team to ensure correct cost recovery against the responsible party and any subsequent invoicing requirements
- Escalation of issues including transit delays, to appropriate contacts, including supervisor, management, customer & third party service providers.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external costs agreements and procedures, to avoid and report financial loss and or financial discrepancies

- Strong Analytical Skills
- Operational experience is desirable
- Working for a large automotive contract
- IT Literate, Microsoft office packages
- Planning experience, particularly in automotive would be desirable
