European Enclosed Car Transport Driver
My Car Import are the UK’s leading vehicle importer for private individuals and trade clients. Our business provides a complete end to end service for clients wishing to import a vehicle to the UK from anywhere in the world – from collection in the country of origin, transport to the UK and completing all testing and registration processes which are required to ensure the vehicle is road legal in the UK.
Due to recent investment, we are currently looking for a European Car Transporter Driver to join our expanding team. Applicants will need to hold a HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence and have previous experience in driving and loading a multi vehicle transporter. We are looking for someone who has a vast knowledge of the UK and European road network and navigating the port crossings that will be required to travel to and from Europe.
Our ideal candidate will need to be an excellent communicator with both colleagues and clients to keep everyone up to date with the progress of collections and deliveries. We are also looking for an individual who is smart in appearance and proud to represent our company on the road, being the face of our brand and promoting an excellent level of customer service and presenting a well maintained vehicle to both our suppliers and customers will be an important part of this role.
This position will definitely suit a person with an enthusiasm for cars, as we rarely transport two the same! We will also require this person to be physically fit, due to the day to day nature of loading and unloading vehicles. Other essential skills include being highly organised and efficient and having great personable skills to fulfil this position to its full potential.
We will be running a weekly route (Monday to Friday) into Europe for deliveries and collections using our recently purchased six car transporter. Overnight stays will be required for the full week until the return to the UK. Our truck is fitted with a sleeper cab with plenty of equipment for a comfortable overnight stay. Meal allowances will also be provided when out on the road.

Applicants must be able to meet the following criteria:
· HGV Class 1 (C + E) licence
· Valid tachograph card
· Maximum of six penalty points
· Previous vehicle transporter driving and loading experience
Package includes:
· Salary of £40,000 - £50,0000 with the opportunity to earn a damage related bonus
