Job Description This position is as as an Estates Surveyor for an organisation in Exeter on a basis. The candidate will be working with the Commercial Estates team to provide estate management, valuation and property advice across the clients' extensive and varied portfolio. This would involve focussing on: lettings; rent reviews; lease renewals and management; lease restructuring; valuations; surveys and negotiations; sale and management of land and buildings on behalf of the client. Responsibilities To undertake valuations, surveys and negotiations regarding the grant of leases, tenancies and licenses of commercial property To carry out rent reviews and lease renewals of commercial property, and negotiate the restructuring of leases as appropriate To conduct valuations, surveys and negotiations regarding rating assessments and the sale of land and associated assets as appropriate To offer property advice and valuations around the sale of the clients' properties under the Right to Buy regulations, including the provisions of the Housing Acts and sale of housing amenity land To undertake valuations regarding the insurance of buildings To assist in the annual capital asset valuation of the clients' commercial, operational and residential estates Benefits Salary of £39,651- 43,223 per annum Flexible working arrangements Flexible working hours Generous annual leave entitlement Active and green travel initiatives About the person Member of the RICS Appropriate graduate qualification At least 3 years experience in a commercial property management environment Knowledge of RICS Red Book Valuations Understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation Knowledge of the commercial property market Pertemps
