Job description
We have an exciting opportunity based in Leeds City Centre to work as a Lettings Negotiator. This role involves liaising with landlords and tenants to ensure the smooth running of the letting process from new instruction to move-in and settling of new tenants, at which point the Property Management Department will take control. This is a position which involves being out of the office, you are not required to drive for this role. Lettings experience is an advantage but not a requirement.

The Role
Communicate effectively with tenants and landlords
Assist in contacting all outstanding enquiries and take new enquiries throughout the day.
Carry out accompanied viewings with prospective tenants and complete property feedback after each viewing.
Update the diary following viewings and complete your own target sheets.
Prepare for and attend individual and team meetings with the Assistant Branch Manager, ensuring that your weekly planner is up to date in preparation.
Follow each of your enquiries and viewings to an acceptable conclusion, asking for recommendations as appropriate.
Update landlords and negotiate any potential lets for your prospective applicants.
Complete all necessary paperwork and Lettings admin.
Visit vacant properties and provide advice to the landlord.
Ensure diaries are updated with all appointments
Person Specification:
You must have previous experience in sales- experience within the property industry is not essential, but you must have proven experience in a customer facing role with excellent customer service skills and a successful track record in making sales.
You must be used to working to targets.
You must have the ability to build strong relationships with clients
You must be IT literate.
You must have good written and verbal communication skills.
You must be a confident independent worker and problem solver.
You must have excellent time management skills and ability to manage own workload.
You must have experience of working under pressure to prioritise ever changing tasks.
You must be a quick and adaptable learner and have good retention.
