We’re currently recruiting a Tutor to join our team of ESOL Tutors to coach, guide and support our learners.
You’ll be responsible for developing the knowledge required for our learners to pass their Pre ESOL / ESOL Skills for Life qualification in a timely manner.
Our successful candidate will be passionate about developing and supporting our Pre ESOL / ESOL learners so that they can fulfil their potential. You’ll have Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS or equivalent and have experience of teaching Pre ESOL/ESOL/English to a minimum L2 standard.

As an organisation, we deliver a range of Employability & Skills contracts which support unemployed people ‘back to work’. This job role forms part of our Refugee Employability Programme which is a new service that will support the integration of refugees across England.. This role is subject to contract award.

Location: Warrington - Please note this is an office based role
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and review programme activity and standards to ensure funding and Awarding Organisation guidelines are met and comprehensive records of participation and outcomes are kept.
- Ensure all learner records and reporting are kept up-to-date and provided in a timely manner to support management reporting and audit requirements.
- Gain learner feedback, through various methods, both whilst the learner is on programme and upon completion of the programme.
- Provide IAG to learners on the requirements of the course, its curriculum and assessment.

Skills and Experience
- Cert Ed/PGCE/DTLLS or equivalent
- Achieved L2 in English and Maths
- Experience teaching ESOL/English to a minimum L2 standard
- Experience of working with adult learners
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent ICT skills
